funerals and celebrations of life

with a background in palliative care nursing and advance communication skills, I support clients with confidence, care and empathy to participate in creating a funeral which reflects every element of their loved one.

Death and grief are profound experiences, and death can uproot some complex emotions. Together we explore both the sadness but also the sparks in remembering the love and laughs you shared together in order to create a funeral which meets your needs.

Families or funeral directors contact me directly to work with them to create a truly person centred service. I cover the Bradford / Leeds / Airedale and Calderdale area. Do get in touch if you are outside this area and we can chat about if I am the right celebrant for you -or if I can recommend someone local to you.

As with all ceremonies I am guided by my values of inclusivity, curiosity and empathy. I aim to support families and friends to create a funeral to support grieving and celebrate the life of their person in a way that meets their needs; from the traditional all the way to the party.

I believe that funerals can be truly person centred and do not have to fit the traditional mould, and recognise that familiar traditions can bring comfort at the most difficult times.

Working with clients to co-create rituals is one of my passions as a celebrant, across all ceremonies. I look forward to hearing from you.
